A Chairde,
A group of Belfast Gaels came together on Monday evening in the offices of Fáilte Feirste Thiar. We discussed the need for local Gaels to have a voice in relation to the anticipated redevelopment of Casement Park.
Please find attached a letter currently endorsed by 11 GAA clubs in South Antrim and indeed the South Antrim Divisional Board. The letter was jointly drafted by Brian White and Sean Magennis.
We hope to have the letter endorsed by every club in South Antrim and work towards a public launch of the letter in St Marys University College on Monday 16th November at 7pm.
This is hopefully the beginning of a process of giving a voice to the GAA community in Belfast.
If your club has not yet agreed to put their name to the letter as of yet can you please come back to me or Kevin Gamble
(E – kevin.gamble@feilebelfast.com M – 07872603709) by no later than Tuesday 10th November. Kevin or I are more than happy to meet your club and discuss the letter.
Look forward to hear from you.
Is mise
