St Therese win the inaugural Corn Éanna ; St Marys on the Hill win Scíath Éanna

Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Aontroim – North Belfast Primary Schools Hurling Blitz at Naomh Éanna

On the 1st of June Naomh Éanna CLG hosted 8 teams representing 5 North Belfast Primary Schools to contest the inaugural Corn Éanna and Sciath Éanna.  Split into two groups, almost 100 young hurlers played in the rain to see which schools would contest the finals.

In the Corn Éanna, St Marys on the Hill 1 and St Therese contested the final with the latter sealing the win.  Overall the team went unbeaten in the early rounds and no other team registered a score against them.

In a very keenly contested Sciath Éanna , St Marys on the Hills (2) and Park Lodge played out a thrilling final game which went to extra time, with St Marys securing the decider late on.

Many thanks to all the participating schools -Gaelscoil Éanna 1&2, Sacred Heart, St Therese, Park Lodge & St Marys on the Hill (1&2), Bunscol Bheann Mhadagain.
