Senior Football
Report by Michael Scott.
Naomh Éanna 0.8 glenavy 0.8.
Tonight’s game was like a game of chess with glenavy playing with 13 men in their own half even when they they had the strong wind in the first half.
Glenavy started well and led by 3.
It took Endas 12 minutes to get their 1st score with a free from Odhrán Eastwood.
Gerard Crossey added a second and Sean Mc Cullough added a super point from distance to put endas within touching distance of Glenavy.
The momentum was most definitely with Endas and Peter healy was very unlucky with a goal chance just before the half time break.
Endas had the win in the second half but glenavy scored first. It took 16 minutes before Endas scored their 2nd point of the half .
This was not a game for the purist, very defensive, some great tackles and turn overs but not much in the way of scoring.
With the game almost up Ruairi Scott equalised with a free from 50m out.
Scorers were Odhrán Eastwood 0.3, Gerard Crossey 0.1, Sean McCullough 0.1, James McAuley 0.1, Micky Morgan 0.1, Ruairi Scott 0.1
