A Chairde;
Naomh Éanna stalwart Dara Mac Coille will be #RootingForReece this Saturday when he competes in the gruelling White Bear Iron Man Triathlon taking place across the Glens of Antrim, in aid of his Nephew Reece, who is battling against Leukaemia.
Dara will be swimming 2.4 miles; Cycling 112 miles and finishing with a full marathon 26.2 mile Run; keeping him occupied from dawn until midnight on the 10th June.
Needless to say any support that we can offer Dara would go a long way.
If anyone is around the Glens between 7am and midnight on Saturday please take some time to give Dara some support around the course.
He will pass through Ballygally every 3-4 hours from 7am. The specific routes can be seen at the links below:

We’ve tried to put some indicative timings together to encourage people to come out and show some support – these are very rough estimates but may be a useful guide if you want to give Dara a big Naomh Éanna cheer:
7am start at Ballygally for swim.

Waterfoot – 10.30am
Cargan – 11am
Broughshane – 11.30am
Ballygally – 1pm
Cycle: (Loop 2)
Glenarm – 1.30pm
Waterfoot – 2.30pm
Cargan – 3pm
Broughshane – 4pm
Ballygally – 5pm
Run (Loop 1):
Old Glenarm Road – 5.15pm
Mullaghsandall Rd / Upper Killyglen Rd – 6.20pm
Feystown Road / Loughdoo Rd – 7.15pm
Carncastle – 8pm
Ballygalley – 8.15pm
Run (Loop 2):
Old Glenarm Road – 8.30pm
Mullaghsandall Rd / Upper Killyglen Rd – 9.40pm
Feystown Road / Loughdoo Rd – 10.45pm
Carncastle – 11.45pm
Ballygalley – midnight
