Today some of our U10 hurlers took part in the annual St Galls Pat Sheehan memorial Cup.
We started strong winning 3 out of the four group games loosing by 1 point to Ballygalget. We had wins over, Naomh Padraig, Lamh Dearg and Rossa.
We then progressed to the 1/4 finals of the cup where we met Dunloy, this was an excellent game of hurling where we came out on top by a few points.
We then went on to face Davitts in the semi’s, as always this is hard fought game in which we ran out comfortable winners.
Finally we met a very strong Cushendall side, our lads gave it everything but unfortunately it turned out to be a bridge to far for us.
In all we had a fantastic day of hurling with a very high level of skill, heart and passion shown by all of our young gaels!
The future is bright!
