2020 U16 Captain Conor McAlister tells us what it's like to play corner back1. Why do you enjoy playing Corner Back?*You can see th game unfolding ,anticipate danger and build attacks.2.Whats your favourite in game moment from this position*The McMullan semi-final victory against Dunloy was a fantastic performance as a defensive unit. We kept the Dunloy attacked to 3 scores.3. Who is your favourite player in this position*Cathal Barrett, he is the sort of corner back that gives corner forwards sleepless nights. He is utterly fearless in his approach he's also as skillful as he is tough.4.What advice do you have for future corner backs?*Don't just try to knock the ball away at any time on the tackle. Time your tackle to when he has to bounce the ball or solo. It's easier when he is not holding it.5. You captained the U16 team during the 2020 season. Do you think this affected your game?*Being captain was a great role. The team's dedication and hard work payed off as we improved throughout the season.(Via @PRógCairanNE @ciaranmcginley73 ) ...
