Tonight’s game was a real battle, St. Paul’s who had the craft played on the edge of the rules throughout, late tackles were the norm and several yellow cards were shown , just before half time St. Paul’s lost a man to a straight red card for kicking,
At half time St. Paul’s were ahead 0.7 to 0.5 despite endas having more of the play.
After the break St. Paul’s came out re energised , with a man less they worked really hard. Naomh Éanna conceded their first goal of the season to a penalty and Naomh Éanna went 5 behind.
To Naomh Éanna credit they came back and drew level near the end , indeed St. Paul’s were hanging on and a couple of goal chances were missed.
