UNDER 6 HURLING BLITZ THIS SATURDAY. The indoor sessions at St Malachy's are over for the year and we now move outside. This Saturday we have been invited to take part in a blitz at the Grosvenor Leisure complex at the bottom of the Grosvenor Road for under 6's (p1's and p2's). Davitts and Sarsfields will also be in attendance. As such there is no training at the club this Saturday for under 6's. We ask parents to be at the Grosvenor complex at 1315 and also to request that your young hurler is turned out in a St Enda's jersey (if possible - don't rush out and buy one!) The blitz will be over by 1430. The Giro road closures does not affect us. We will have two teams of 7 and can roll players on and off and all players will get game time. Could you confirm if your son is able to attend so we have an idea of numbers attending. All parents registered should have received a text also - if you didnt get a text, please text me with your updated number to 07976070036 Thanks again for your continued support.

The St Enda's cyclists would like to thank Denis O'Kane (OK Windows) for his continuous support of the annual charity cycle.
Without his support and the use of his van as a support vehicle the event would be very difficult to complete.

Cycle to Donegal Update.
We left the club at 7am on a wet Saturday morning. The spirits of the cyclists definitely weren't dampened as we were all raring to get started.
The group quickly broke into two and Mickey's flyers pulled away followed Gary's grinders all keeping a great pace. First stop at Pomeroy was very welcomed as we got a chance to eat and get out of some of the wet gear. Mickey's group started of before us again and now we were joined by 2 more in Gary's group. The weather had picked up greatly and with a bit of a tailwind made the cycling even better.
The next stop was at Kesh were we all got refuelled before we got to the first hill climbs between Pettigoe and Donegal town, although tough enough everyone kept a good pace and were soon over them.
Then it was on to Donegal Town to celebrate with a few lemonades.
A big congratulations to all the cyclists for doing the 115 miles, Mickey D,Gary,Ciaran,Darragh,Davey,Brian,Jim,Joe,Mickey M,Enda,Barry,Marty and Carl.
Special thanks to
Peaches and Dee Dee for Driving the van, Jamie and Chestnut for driving the minibus.
To Mickey and Gary for organising the route and keeping us together.
A big thank you Conrad Murphy for getting up out of his bed on Saturday to see us off.
A great day enjoyed by us all for a very worthy cause.
