Well done to the U10 girls on winning the 16 team tournament in St. Galls today. Your first piece of silverware, with plenty to come!

And congratulations to Molly, Katie, Claire and Aoife, as Antrim defeated Monaghan to become Ulster 14B champions on a roasting hot day in Tyrone. 6-13 to 6-12. They'll be playing Waterford on 13th June in the All Ireland Semi Final. Don't know where yet.

And more good news!

Good luck to Katie, Claire, Molly and Aoife who are on the Antrim U14 Ladies Football team playing in the Ulster B Final on Saturday against Monaghan. The game is at Killeeshil, Co. Tyrone at 1.15.

It's another fantastic achievement for our club considering we are relatively new to Ladies Football. No club in Antrim has more players represented on the team and all the girls are still U13 this year. Next year, I am sure they will be joined by quite a few of their club mates.

Congratulations on your selection, girls, and good luck on Saturday! NEA!

St. Enda's Senior Ladies Result: NE 3:10 TO 3:5 Lamh Dhearg.
Unbeaten run for Senior Ladies continues to 6 and also extended their lead at top of table further, with another hard fought win against 2nd place Lamh Dhearg. A very tight game in poor conditions, the girls did very well and showed great character against a good Lamh Dhearg side.
Also big thank you to Áine Walsh who played her last game tonight before her move to London tomorrow, a valuable player and will be missed.
Scorers: Bronagh Meighan (1:4), Aoife McCullough (2:2), Maeve Higgins (0:1), Niamh Morgan (0:1), Eilis Crickard (0:1) Aine Walsh (0:1).

Naomh Éanna is a Host Club for Féile na nGael 2014. We are hosting a hurling Club from Cork – we are still waiting confirmation of what Club it is. There are 55 host hurling clubs throughout Ulster. Each club provides 15 Host Families in order to host a team for the Feile. A Host Family looks after two team members for two nights. We already have our Host Families in place but there will be much more to organise and we will need a lot of members to volunteer.

Féile na nGael is the GAA National Under 14 festival of hurling and camogie and, for the first time ever, Ulster is hosting the Féile na nGael. It takes place from Friday 20th June to Sunday 22nd June. The competition is sponsored by Bus Éireann. The opening ceremonies are at the Derry Centre of Excellence in Owenbeg and the Armagh Athletic Grounds on Friday 20th. There will be group games at all Host Clubs over the Friday and Saturday and the Finals are on Sunday at and the Tyrone Centre of Excellence at Garvaghy and at Owenbeg. St. Endas are competing in Division 3.

Each year as many as 25,000 children and parents from all 32 counties travel to Féile na nGael. Since 1971 over one million boys and girls have participated in this great festival. Féile has the primary objective of facilitating and enabling the personal, social and cultural development of young people. It also emphasises cultural and community activities, leadership and training through sport. It is recognised by the GAA as a major festival of great importance for the promotion of gaelic games among the youth of our country.

Outstanding performance tonight to continue unbeaten run in the league. A nervy start to the game but the girls lead 2:7 to 0:1 at half time. In the second half the girls continued to put scores on the board and praise must also go to Aisling Hughes in nets who saved a St Teresa's penalty.
We have now played every team in the league and next week will see the start of the second round of games with another tough game against 2nd place Lamh Dhearg.
Scorers: Bronagh Meighan (1:2), Caoimhe McConnell (1:1), Una Gordon (0:4), Maeve Higgins (0:2), Aoife McCullough (0:1), Courtney Hughes (0:1), Eilis Crickard (0:1).
