The former inspirational captain of the Antrim senior football team, Anto Finnegan, is battling Motor Neuron Disease and to that end the GAA and Rugby communities are coming together to help Anto in the fight against MND.
Game for Anto will be played on Saturday, 15th November (throw in 6 PM) when the Dublin Gaelic football team will play against The Irish News Ulster all-star team selected recently by the Irish News readers, at Kingspan Stadium, the home of Ulster rugby. It has been over 20 years since Dublin footballers have played in a venue in Belfast.
When the Irish News Ulster all-Star team take to the field, it will be the first time in the 20 year history since the awards have been running, the team will have played together.
This is indeed a very unique and exciting event, and clubs are encouraged to attend as groups, and also to proudly wear their club colours.
St Enda’s GAC have made a group booking of 75 (40 adults and 20 juveniles for the Grandstand, as well as 15 terrace tickets).
Anyone looking for a ticket should contact Niall Murphy firstname.lastname@example.org, Michael Scott, Declan Steele or Ciaran McCavana email@example.com . Tickets require to be paid for, before 3rd November, so please make contact and payment before then.
