Easter Parade

22/03/2016

A Chairde

As part of the 1916 Centenary Commemoration Events, Antrim County Board have asked clubs to take part in this years ‘Annual Graves Association’ parade on Easter Sunday.

The parade will follow the same route of the 1956 parade via Falls Road to Milltown Cemetery where Gerry Adams (TD) will be the main speaker.

We will join at Northumberland Street (beside Twin Spires).

Can all senior and juvenile members wishing to take part in theparade, assemble no later than 11.45am at Northumberland Street as parade will leave at 12.00pm.  All members taking part must wear club colours.

We shall leave the parade at the gates of the cemetery allowing all children to be collected at the carpark of Kennedy Centre, and anyone wishing to go into the cemetery for the speeches or street theatre can do so at their own leisure.

Please note this is optional, however there will be a large representation of Antrim Clubs taking part and we wish to ensure a large turnout on behalf of the club. Ciarán McCavana will be co-ordinating the event on behalf of the club if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact him on 079120 85641
