Naomh Éanna cyclists completed their annual charity cycle on Saturday 23/04/16. 12 cyclists took part on the day to complete 138 miles to Carrick On Shannon all for Motor Neurone Disease. As always the trip was only possible because of true team work and help from the club and members of the local community. Mickey Devlin and Gary Bartlett who every year plan and organise the trip. The Club for the use of the Mini Bus, to Jamie Curran and Kevin Parkes for getting the bus there and back. DeeDee Butler and Kevin Curran who drove the backup van (yet again) which was kindly loaned to us by T Tyres in Glengormley. To Sharon for supplying the lovely sandwiches on our return, I never seen plates cleared as quickly. Last but not least the cyclists who were out raising money for a great cause. Mickey’s Flyers, Mickey Devlin, Scott Lewis Dara Mac Collie, Barry Harpur, Marty Ryan and Ger McEvoy. Followed at speed by Gary’s grinders of, Gary Bartlett, Jim O’Neill, Peaches, Mickey McLaughlin Brian Butler Myself and last but not least David McCavana who put in an unbelievable cycle. one more person Big Anto for cycling with us as far as Lurgan to keep up the spirits. A brilliant day had by all. GRMA
