Gaeilge Sunday

31/07/2018

A chairde gael,

As part of Gaeilge Sundays (5th August) celebrations we are asking all Pobal Éanna, players, officials, members, children, parents, grandparents and guardians to be in club colours and at the club for 2pm this Sunday!

We are aiming to take a picture of as many Pobal Éanna Gaels, young and not so young, in memory of the historic day one hundred years ago.

Our Senior Hurlers have a home match at 3pm, so it will be an entertaining day for everyone.

Check the link for an article from the Irish times to get a feel for what’s Sunday is all about:

Naomh Éanna CLG

Today we fielded a reserve Camogie team for first time ever,

The improvement in fitness and skill is fantastic.

Today was our reserves first outing and what a great game against East Belfast Gaels.
A young side is full of young talent that will help develop our squad.

Maith sibh.
